Thoughts & Prayers For Sean Demery
• It is with heavy hearts but positive spirits that the family and friends of Sean Demery, PD of Alpha Media Triple A KINK/Portland, OR would like to inform you of his recent medical issue — Sean suffered a brain-stem stroke on January 20.
We are told that Sean’s spirits are good, as he’s been requesting his favorite bands, checking in on KINK daily, and conversing with family and friends and checking email and texts.
There is a long road to recovery ahead for Sean, and we ask for your continued support, positive thoughts and prayers. Sean’s wife Jennifer has asked that you check in on Sean’s Facebook page for updates and to post supportive messages, videos and photos for Sean.
We also ask that you respect the privacy of Sean’s family and please direct your messages, posts and well-wishes to the Facebook Group. Hearing from his friends and listeners is the best therapy he can receive, so thank you!
• Demery has been PD of KINK since March 2017, and, by all accounts, has worked his usual magic with the ratings. His previous programming stops include WYMS (88Nine Radio)/Milwaukee, KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco and KXRK (X96)/Salt Lake City, along with two stints with WNNX (99X)/Atlanta.
