• Veteran radio programmer Don Parker announced the launch of his new consulting firm, Parker Brand Strategies, dedicated to helping broadcasters and media companies create, strengthen, and rejuvenate their brands for long-term success.

Parker comes fully equipped with several decades of proven experience leading top-rated stations and guiding teams to market dominance, most recently a 15-year run with iHeartMedia, where he rose to Regional SVP of Programming, Northern California Region, PD of KMEL/San Francisco and GM of Pride Radio until his departure last November. Parker earlier served as NextMedia VP of Programming, and his previous PD stops include KCMG (Mega 100)/Los Angeles, KKFR/Phoenix, KTBZ/Houston and KBOS (B95)/Fresno.
