Tino & Chavez Forge Partnership
• The YEA Networks-syndicated Tino Cochino Radio and Chavez Radio Group have “Forged” an alliance — effective Monday, May 8, TCR takes command of the 7-11pm dayparts on Chavez Radio Group’s two Top 40 “Forge” brands serving California’s Central Valley — KBDS (Forge 103.9)/Bakersfield and KBHH (Forge 95.3)/Kerman-Fresno.
In making the announcement, Chavez Radio Group PD Maria Barquin said, “We are excited to welcome Tino Cochino to our Chavez Radio Family! We know our Forge listeners are going to love the energy of Tino Cochino Radio, the No.1 Latino-hosted English-speaking syndicated radio show in America, and we look forward to his show enhancing our mission of entertaining, inspiring, and uplifting listeners.”
An equally enthused Tino commented, “Bakersfield will always hold a special place in my heart because it’s the first city in California that I was able to plant my feet and grow some roots many years ago. Now, with Fresno on board, TCR has CenCal on lock!”
