Tommy Chuck Returning To Tampa
Congrats to Tommy Chuck, PD of iHeartMedia Top 40 WIHT (Hot 99.5) and AC WASH-FM/Washington, who is headed back to Tampa Bay as the newly named SVP of Programming for the 14-station Tampa-Sarasota Area. He will also be the day-to-day PD of Country WFUS (US103.5).
This is very familiar turf for Chuck, who previously spent eight years as PD of WFLZ/Tampa before earning the DC transfer in January 2015. A company vet since 2000, Chuck previously programmed WKXJ/Chattanooga, TN, WQEN/Birmingham, AL and WXXL/Orlando before his stint at WFLZ.
Upon arrival, Chuck will report to Sam Nein, Area President for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay, who said, “We are ecstatic to welcome Tommy back to Tampa! Tommy is a very passionate and effective leader with a proven track record of winning everywhere he has been.”
Chuck remarked, “My family and I are grateful to once again call Tampa Bay home and I’m honored to be chosen to lead such legendary brands. I will work hard to make sure the tradition of winning and having fun while doing it continues in Tampa!”
