• Alpha Media Louisville announces some significant changes in the Programming and Promotions departments, effective immediately — the movement begins with Chris Johnson (left), Promotions Director for the five-station cluster, who has shifted his roles — he remains as Promotions Director for Urban WGZB (B96.5) and Urban AC WMJM (Magic 101.3), but will now also focus his talents on the cluster’s Digital Department, as well as IT for all five stations in the building.

At the same time it was announced that McKenzie Neu (center), has been upped to Promotions Director for Top 40 WDJX, Alternative WGHL (ALT 105.1) and Adult Hits WXMA (102.3 Jack FM). She will continue to do nights on WDJX.

Hang on, there’s more — Matthew “12” Brown (right) has been elevated to APD of WGZB and WMJM. Before returning to Alpha Media last fall, “12” was APD of iHeartMedia Urban rival WTFX (Real 93.1). Commenting on his swell new stripes, 12 said, “I want to thank my Program Director DJ Q, my Operations Manager Ben Davis and Market President Steve Bearance for their confidence in me and belief in the value I bring to the team.”
