‘Twiggins’ Upped To OM, Adams Radio Tallahassee
• Congrats to Tres “Twiggins” Wiggins, PD of Adams Radio Top 40 WHTF (Hot 104.9) and Rhythmic Hot AC WQTL (Vibe 106.1)/Tallahassee, FL on his swell elevation to Operations Manager of the group, which also includes Country WWOF (103.1 The Wolf) and Adult Hits WXTY (Tally 99.9). The position was most recently occupied by Jason Taylor, who left last month.
In making the official announcement of Twiggins’ upgrade, Adams Radio Pres./CEO Charlie Fritz said, “After an extensive search, it was clear that the best candidate to lead our group of stations and talented staffers was within our own ranks. Twiggins’ dedication to excellence brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm to everything he does. Congratulations, Twiggins, on a well-deserved promotion.”
Twiggins, who also co-hosts Twiggins & Ally in afternoon drive on Hot 104.9, joined the cluster in December 2021 as PD of WHTF, arriving from Cumulus Mobile, AL, where he was Production/Traffic Continuity Director for the group and air talent on Top 40 97.5 WABD. He was awarded bonus PD stripes for sister WQTL in Dec. 2023, when it flipped from Oldies to Rhythmic Hot AC as Vibe 106.1. Twiggins got his big radio break in 2008 as an intern for the late, legendary WABB/Mobile.
