Twitty New PD of Wild 101.1/Boise
• Iliad Media Group Rhythmic KWYD (Wild 101.1)/Boise, ID welcomes Isaiah Twitty into the family today as the new Program Director and afternoon drive talent. He succeeds JD Garfield, who in late August announced he was returning to Louisville for a new opportunity “semi-outside of radio.”
Twitty (left) previously spent five years in various roles with NRG Media in Omaha, working his way up to APD of Rhythmic KOPW (Power 106.9) until last June. More recently he was living in the Boise area as a Social Media Manager for CTC Telecom in nearby Meridian, ID.
When introducing Twitty to the crew, Regional OM James Garner said, “Isaiah is an up-and-coming star in the industry. His passion for radio and fresh ideas make him the perfect addition to our team.” Twitty commented, “It’s a dream that has become a reality. I’m excited and honored to take the reins at Wild 101 and to be a part of this local winning team.”
Twitty taking over afternoon drive now completes Wild 101.1’s newly revised daytime schedule that kicks off with Hey Morton with Rick Morton in morning drive and Nathan Fast in middays.
