Two Openings At Connoisseur’s WICC
• Connoisseur Media Connecticut has two exciting new opportunities available on heritage News-Talk WICC-AM & FM/Bridgeport — 1) Talk Show Host, and 2) Morning News Reporter
• The talk host opening is a four-hour live talk show (middays or afternoons) to air Monday through Saturday from our studios in Milford, CT. The ideal candidate will be able to book guests, create compelling local content, field listener phone calls, and pivot subject matter as the local news cycle dictates.
Candidates should have a minimum of three years in News/Talk or related experience, familiarity with modern radio automation systems, and the ability to communicate with and understand the 45+ adult radio listener.
• The News Reporter will work weekdays during the Melissa in the Morning show. The ideal candidate will be able to travel to Fairfield County locations and report live, collect and edit audio, post on social media, and deliver produced stories that can run throughout the day. That position also requires a minimum of three years in News/Talk format or related experience.
