New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) announced the promotion of Daniela Allee, and Casey McDermott to Sr. News Editors, Mary McIntyre to Sr. Producer of News Magazines, and the addition of a new Couch Fellow, Jeongyoon Han.

Allee (left) began her time at NHPR as a Couch Fellow in 2018, and now, as Sr. News Editor, oversees reporting on climate and environmental issues. She will continue to lead the NHPR Spanish-language news initiative, ¿Qué Hay de Nuevo, New Hampshire?.

McDermott (center) joined NHPR in 2015 as a digital reporter and producer, moving into health policy and political reporting, eventually working as an investigative/data reporter and editor. Her purview as Sr. News Editor will shift to oversight of reporting on education and health/equity.

McIntyre (right) joined NHPR in 2017, and has worked as NHPR’s local Morning Edition producer. In her new position, McIntyre will help oversee, alongside the News Director and PD, the editorial strategy for NHPR’s local news magazines, Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

New Couch Fellow Jeongyoon Han arrives from her recent stint as a production intern at NPR’s Weekend Edition and a previous gig as a news assistant at WAMC/Albany, NY. She will begin her one-year fellowship in the newsroom, contributing to reporting in the final stretch of the midterm elections.
