Ursetti Elevated To PD @ Alternative Cleveland

• The crew at Rubber City Radio’s WNWV (107.3 Alternative Cleveland)/Cleveland has reason to celebrate, as MD Alyssa Ursetti is formally promoted from “Interim” to “Regular” PD, succeeding Tony Mazur, who left last month. It was concurrently announced that Alternative Cleveland morning talent Kris Drew has been awarded APD stripes.

Ursetti’s elevation to the PD chair marks the latest career high point in her eight-year tenure with Rubber City Radio — she got her start as the Sales Assistant, later working her way up to Promotions Director for Classic Rock 97.5 WONE and Soft AC 93.5 WAKR. She was subsequently named Promotions Director and Music Director for 107.3 Alternative Cleveland on the way to earning her well deserved PD stripes.

Ursetti remarked, “I love that I’m able to mix my passion for music with my profession. I’m excited to lead and program this station to success. Alternative is back in Cleveland, and we’re here to stay!”
