Valenti Trades Jersey For Cali

• It has been said that you haven’t really had the full “radio experience” until you complete your first cross-country move for a new gig. We are pleased to report that “JV Joe” Valenti has now joined that elite group, as he prepares to make the marathon drive from Atlantic City, NJ to Redding, CA to begin his new gig as APD/afternoon drive at Results Radio Top 40 KEWB (Power 94.7)/Redding, starting Sept. 16.

Valenti has served as MD/afternoon talent at Townsquare Media’s WSJO (SoJo 104.9)/Atlantic City since Feb. 2018. His prior experience includes seven years in multiple roles with Press Communications’ Top 40 WBBO (B98.5) and Classic Rock WWZY (107.1 The Boss)/Monmouth-Ocean. Valenti has a B.A. in Communications from The College of New Jersey.

Upon his arrival, Valenti will report to Picazzo Stevens, OM/PD of Power 94.7, who said, “We looked at a number of talented candidates with a wide range of experience until finding our needle in the haystack. Joe is the whole package and a perfect fit for the Power 94.7 brand. I can’t wait for Joe to join our team!”
