VBros Expand Across America

• RAMP has confirmed that The VBros show, hosted by Mikey & Frankie V (Vinci) and Gianna Gravalese and enjoyed in afternoon drive on iHeartMedia’s WXKS (Kiss 108)/Boston for the past year has now expanded its broadcast footprint, as it has been installed in nights at five other iHeart sister stations — Top 40 sisters WAKS (Kiss 96.5)/Cleveland, KDHT (Hits 95.7)/Denver, WKSS (Kiss 95.7)/Hartford and KKRZ (Z100)/Portland, OR, and Rhythmic KPEZ (102.3 The Beat)/Austin. Nothing too shocking for these new affiliates — Mikey was already doing nights on WAKS, while Frankie had been heard on KDHT and KPEZ. Both guys had also been on WKSS at various times in their careers.

It was September 2022 when The VBros show debuted on Kiss 108. The concept made perfect sense — brothers Frankie and Mikey, the pride of Framingham, MA, are both veterans of Kiss 108, where Mikey currently serves as APD/MD. Meanwhile, Frankie V is representing the Pacific time zone as co-host of the Geena The Latina & Frankie V morning show on sister KHTS (Channel 93.3)/San Diego and APD of Rhythmic KSSX (JAM’N 95.7).

RAMP reached out to Dylan Sprague, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Boston, who told us, “No one works harder than Mikey, Frankie and Gianna. They have been wildly successful on Kiss, so it only makes sense to utilize their great content elsewhere.”
