Wanna Wake Up In Baltimore?

• Hell, who wouldn’t! That said, iHeartMedia Country 93.1 WPOC/Baltimore has launched a planetwide search for a new morning co-host, as it was announced that Bethany Linderman, half of Michael J & Bethany in the Morning, will sign off on Dec. 23 as she shifts her full focus to her real estate career. WPOC PD Jeff Kapugi is now on the hunt for the next standout talent to step into her spot.

A little history: Michael J moved up from afternoons into morning drive alongside Linderman in January of this year, succeeding Country Radio Hall of Famer Laurie DeYoung, who stepped away after an amazing 36-year run. Linderman originally joined the WPOC morning show in Nov. 2023, crossing the street from her morning co-host spot at Audacy Hot AC WWMX (Mix 106.5). Linderman earlier co-hosted the morning show on Townsquare Country WGNA/Albany, NY, and she began her career at WPIG in her hometown of Olean, NY.

As Kapugi notes: “We’re looking for someone who can vibe with Michael J on-air, bring real spark to our social platforms, and weave themselves into the rhythm of Baltimore while pushing our momentum even further. Think you’re the one? Apply HERE. EOE.
