White Named Chief Of Staff/OM, SummitMedia Birmingham
• Kori White, longtime Operations Manager of SummitMedia Birmingham, AL has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief of Staff/Operations Manager, SummitMedia Birmingham. In his new role, White will direct all station operations, community engagement, marketing, digital content and special initiatives for Urban AC WBHK (98.7 Kiss FM), Rhythmic WBHJ (95.7 Jamz), Classic Rock WBPT (106.9 The Eagle), Country 104.7 WZZK, Hot AC WYPA (Mix 97.3) and Urban Gospel WAGG 610 AM/100.1 FM.
White began his radio career as an intern in Tuscaloosa in 1993, and was named WBHJ’s first overnight talent when the station launched in 1996. He has also been a program director, promotions and marketing director and web producer. Under his leadership, White led four stations to consistently claim the Top 4 spots in Nielsen rankings in the Birmingham market.
