Williams Comes Home To Texas
• Entercom has tapped Armen Williams as the new Program Director for Houston Sports-Talk duo KILT-AM (SportsRadio 610) and KIKK-AM (CBS Sports Radio 650), effective January 7.
“Armen is a born leader and we know that he is the right person to guide SportsRadio forward,” said Sarah Frazier, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Houston. “His passion, enthusiasm and strategic thinking will help take us to… the next level™ of Houston sports talk.”
Williams most recently programmed Bonneville Sports-Talk KKFN (104.3 The Fan)/Denver. Prior to that, he held the same role at Townsquare Media’s WTMM (ESPN 104.5)/Albany, NY. The move marks a return to Texas for Williams, who began his radio career as a promotions intern for KSCS/Dallas, and in 2008 was named as afternoon drive producer for KRLD (105.3 The Fan)/Dallas.
“I’m honored to join the Entercom Houston family,” said Williams. “The opportunity to be a part of the heritage SportsRadio 610 brand, at the home of the Houston Texans, is something that I could not pass up. My family and I are extremely excited to make the move back to the Lone Star State.”
