Willie B & Johnny O!

Results Radio LLC has hired industry icon Willie B. (Naftel) as PD/morning talent for Classic Hits KUBA/Yuba City CA. He replaces Moe Howard, who left in August. Willie B’s storied career has taken him all over the country, including stops at WBSB/Baltimore, B100/San Diego, WKZN/New Orleans and KHFI/Austin, to name a few.

• Johnny O’Leary, a.k.a. “Johnny O’” transitions from his longtime APD/afternoon spot on Cumulus Top 40 WWWQ (Q100)/Atlanta to the PD chair at Top 40 sibling WSSX (95SX)/Charleston, SC, starting today. Sherry Dollar, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Media Charleston said, “Johnny O’ brings a wealth of talent to the Lowcountry and to Charleston’s heritage Top 40 station, WSSX. His creativity, knowledge of the format, passion to win and great leadership skills will be brilliant additions to the mighty 95SX. We can’t wait to kick off the New Year with Johnny!”

Prior to landing in Atlanta nine years ago, O’Leary programmed New South Radio’s WYOY/Jackson, MI and was Imaging Director/air personality for WKRQ (Q102)/Cincinnati. He succeeds Yonni Rude, who is now OM for Radio One Richmond.
