Willobee On The Loose

Well this sucks… Willobee Carlan yesterday revealed his future free-agency, as it was announced that his position as Director Of Broadcast Operations for Shamrock Communications Reno, NV is being eliminated, effective Dec. 2.

Willobee joined Shamrock in April of 2010 OM/PD of Classic Rock WEZX (Rock 107)/Wilkes-Barre, PA, Alternative WFUZ (Fuzz 92.1) and ESPN affiliate WEJL. In February of 2012 he made headlines when he relocated to Reno to spearhead the launch of five new brands from scratch — Alternative KRZQ, Top 40 KWNZ (POP FM), Rocker KZTI (Z105.3), News/Talk KNEZ (K-News) and Adult Standards Martini Radio.

Earlier in his radio career Willobee spent five years as OM/PD of legendary Northshire Alternative outlet WEQX/Albany, NY. He also spent many years in artist management working with Korn, General Public, Phunk Junkeez, Tuck & Patti and others.
