WJR/Detroit Makes Major Drivetime Moves
Jamie Edmonds began her career in 2007 at WILX/Lansing, MI. She transitioned to sports at WEYI-TV/Flint, MI, followed by 11 years at WDIV-TV/Detroit. Edmonds joined 760 WJR in 2021 as a Co-Host alongside Steve Courtney on The Sportsbook, airing Monday nights from 7-8pm.
Lloyd Jackson is a 35-year award-winning broadcasting pro who has covered city politics and hosted several talk shows, including Ask the Mayor, Ask the Governor, and The Big Story.
Lomas Brown played for the Lions for 11 of his 18 NFL seasons, won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay in 2002 and was named to the Pro Bowl from 1990-96. Brown was just inducted into the Lions’ Ring of Honor at Ford Field and has also been named as Grand Marshall of America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day.
Renee Vitale is a native of Southeast Detroit and has spent 24 of her 25 years in radio in Detroit airwaves, co-hosting morning drive on WNIC and WDRQ. For 15 years, she also worked at Specs Howard School of Media Arts, including serving as the Director of Admissions.
