WJYY/Concord Inks Jeremy White For PM Drive

• Binnie Media Rhythmic Hot AC 105.5 WJYY/Concord, NH has filled its afternoon drive shift with the talents of Jeremy White, succeeding Michael Maze, who left earlier this month.

White has been tracking nights for the past two years — and will continue to do so — at Corus Hot AC CING (Energy 95.3)/Hamilton, Ontario. He previously spent eight years in various shifts on Cogeco Rhythmic AC CKBE (92.5 The Beat)/Montreal.

In making the announcement of White’s arrival, WJYY Director of Programming Harrison Hinman noted, “We’re very excited to have Jeremy join team JYY. He brings in years of experience with a new/fresh upbeat show that our listeners can connect to and enjoy! We believe Jeremy is the perfect candidate to help steer JYY in this new direction! It’s been a long time coming… Jeremy and I have been trying to make this happen for a couple of years now. Jeremy couldn’t have joined us at a better time!”

Explaining WJYY’s new musical direction, Hinman added, “We have made the switch from Rhythmic Top-40 into a stricter rhythmic hot adult contemporary format highlighting ’90s and 2000s throwbacks with a touch of today’s hip-hop.
