Wood Named VP/Prog. for Emmis Indy

• Emmis Communications keeps it in the family and promotes David Wood from Director of Programming for Emmis Indianapolis, to Vice President of Programming for Emmis Indianapolis.

Wood, a ten-year Emmis veteran, will work closely with the program directors of WFNI (ESPN 107.5/1070 The Fan), News-Talk WIBC, AC WYXB (B105.7) and Country WLHK (97.1 Hank FM), while continuing to serve as the head programmer for WIBC and Network Indiana.

In making the announcement of Wood’s elevation, Bob Richards, Senior Vice President of Emmis Indianapolis said, “David’s experience building legendary brands and coaching world class talent is second to none. This promotion is well deserved recognition for the amazing work he has been doing leading our programming teams for the past 10+ years.”
