WOW! Smith & Landry ‘Best of Connecticut’ Again
• WOW Radio CT is thrilled to announce that longtime radio pros Brian Smith and Pam Landry are the winners of Connecticut Magazine‘s annual “Best of Connecticut” poll for “Best Connecticut Radio Show” for the second year in a row. WOW Radio CT is an online radio station that features music 24/7 from the ’60s through the ’90s. Smith and Landry broadcast live weekdays from 7am-3pm out of their state-of-the-art radio studio inside Toyota of Wallingford.
This isn’t their first rodeo together — Smith and Landry famously worked together for years at Connoisseur’s heritage Rock station, WPLR/New Haven — Smith was half of the Smith & Barber morning show, and Landry was MD/middays. Landry still does weekends/fill-in on Pamal Triple A WXPK (107.1 The Peak)/Westchester, NY as she has since 2009.
In addition to their daily show, Smith and Landry also host local businesses, non-profits, Chambers of Commerce, and local musicians, who perform LIVE in the WOW Radio CT studio. And as of June 2, 2025, Wow Radio CT extended its reach to terrestrial radio when it debuted on the historic 1320 WATR/Waterbury, CT, which recently added a turbo-boost at 97.7.
