WVEZ/Louisville Rebrands As ‘Mix 106.9’
• SummitMedia got busy in Louisville on Monday, rebranding Hot AC WVEZ (103.9 Play) to Mix 106.9, now playing the best variety of music “From 2K to Today.” The new Mix 106.9 features hits from today’s artists like Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5, along with the biggest hits of the 2000s from artists like Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Backstreet Boys, Adele and Katy Perry, etc.
“Louisville is ready for something fresh,” said Cagle, Operations Manager of SummitMedia Louisville. “Whether you’ve returned to your office or still working remotely from home, Mix 106.9 is Louisville’s at-work station.” Along with the rebranding, listeners will still enjoy local personalities Jesse and MJ in the morning and Jordan Rivers in afternoons.
