Yesi Ortiz Now Asst. Brand Mgr. @ 97.1 AMP/L.A.
• Congrats are in order for Yesi Ortiz, who has been promoted to Asst. Brand Manager of Entercom Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP)/Los Angeles. She will retain her existing MD responsibilities and afternoon drive airshift.
In making the official proclamation of Yesi’s well deserved upgrade, Michael Martin, who wears the multiple weighty hats of SVP of Programming, Head of Music Initiatives and Brand Manager for 97.1 AMP as well as KITS (ALT 105.3) & KLLC (Alice @ 97.3)/San Francisco, commented, “Yesi’s expertise and passion for the station, format and audience is key for 971AMP’s success! Ortiz joined AMP Radio to do middays in April 2018 and was upped to MD shortly thereafter. Ortiz previously spent 12 years across the street at Meruelo Media’s KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles, rising to midday personality and Asst. MD.
