Zander Gets Classic Rock Results

• Results Radio LLC welcomes veteran programmer/personality Mark Zander as Classic Rock Format Captain, overseeing the company’s two Northern California Classic Rock stations: KTHU (Thunder 100.7)/Chico and KHRD (Red 103.1)/Redding. Zander will be based in Chico and succeeds KTHU PD Ron Woodward, who exits, and former KHRD PD Olivia Henderson, who left in August for a management position with Americorps.

Zander arrives from Chicago, where he was most recently on-air at WMVP-AM (ESPN 1000). His previous programming stops include WXRX-FM & WNTA-AM/Rockford, IL; WRME-LP/Chicago; WERV-FM/Aurora, IL; WRQX-FM/Joliet, IL; KLKX-FM & KKZQ-FM/Palmdale, CA, and he has been on the air extensively in Chicago at WDRV, WZZN, WLUP and WCKG. Zander has also served as a broadcasting instructor at Columbia College Chicago, and he was the creator, host, and producer of the nationally syndicated The Rockin’ ’70s and The Rockin’ ’80s, and owner/operator of 4Cmedia.

Zander reports to Results Radio SVP Dave Shakes, who said, “Our two Classic Rock stations are poised for new growth with Zander’s leadership. This is an exciting development for Results Radio as we enter 2023.” Zander said, “I’ve known Dave and his work for years. When the opportunity arose to work directly with him and the Results Radio teams in both Chico and Redding, I jumped at the chance! I happily leave my parka and mittens back in the Midwest.
