Zederman Named Dir./Content, ESPN 1000
• Good Karma Brands has elevated Danny Zederman to Director of Content for WMVP-AM (ESPN 1000)/Chicago. Zederman, a 15-year veteran of ESPN 1000, will step down from his current role as Executive Producer of the Kap & J. Hood morning show. He previously produced other successful ESPN 1000 shows, including Silvy & Carmen, Mac, Jurko & Harry and Carmen & Jurko.
When making the announcement of Zederman’s swell upgrade, ESPN Chicago Market Manager Keith Williams said, “Danny’s strategy and vision for our team in the future will allow us to grow to serve our partners, fans and teammates.” Zederman said, “I’m grateful to Good Karma Brands for the opportunity and am excited to work alongside Keith Williams, to lead and collaborate with our talented teammates and partners.” He added, “My goal is to continue entertaining our fans, grow the ESPN Chicago brand on all platforms and add value to the community.”
Zederman began his radio career in 2002 as the Operations Manager of Newsweb’s Chicago-area stations WSBC-AM, WCSN, WNDZ and WCFJ-AM. Before joining ESPN 1000 in 2006, Zederman was an Executive Producer across the street on Audacy rival WSCR-AM (670 The Score).
