A Laura… & Hardy Handshake
• Townsquare Hot AC WLHT (Mix 95.7)/Grand Rapids, MI welcomes Laura Hardy as the new co-host of the Big Joe Show, plugging in alongside Michigan native Joe Pesh weekdays from 6-10am.
Hardy, a.k.a. “Regular Laura,” is a Kentucky native who spent the past seven years anchoring the morning show on SummitMedia Classic Rock WSFR (107.7 The Eagle)/Louisville, while also enjoying some quality time in West Michigan. “After spending my summers and weekends in Grand Rapids, I fell in love with West Michigan and had to make it my new home,” Hardy said. “I’m ready to start a ‘Grand’ new chapter of my career by joining Big Joe and Mix 95.7.” Hardy’s earlier career stops include KICT/Wichita and KEZO/Omaha.
Director of Content Ken Evans commented, “Laura’s connection to her local community is unmatched by most talents, and her addition to Mix 95.7 will elevate our on-air and digital platforms. She’s a perfect fit to join our ‘Local Creators Making Local Connections’ mantra for 2022. Plus, she brings a wholly unique perspective to the Big Joe Show.”
But Wait! There another opportunity with the Big Joe Show — longtime show producer Steve Bohner segues into the glamorous world of television, joining local ABC affiliate WZZM 13.
