Albany’s Cat Inks New Morning Show
• Albany Broadcasting Country WKLI (100.9 The Cat)/Albany, NY welcomes the husband/wife team of Sean and Andrea Phillips McMaster aboard as its new morning show, effective Monday, Nov. 2.
Albany Broadcasting and the McMasters are already old friends — Sean most recently did afternoons on Classic Country sibling WKBE/Glen Falls, NY. He previously did mornings on AC clustermate WYJB (paired with Andrea) and notably spent 20 years at Townsquare Media Country WGNA/Albany. The McMasters succeed The Cat’s former KC & Kelly morning show — Kristina “KC” Carlyle is now morning co-host on Max Media AC WVBW (92.9 The Wave)/Norfolk-Virginia Beach, and her former partner Pete Kelly has moved to afternoons on The Cat. At the same time, OM/PD Jon Reilly unplugs from afternoons on The Cat and crosses the hall to do afternoons on AC sister WYJB (B95.5), while Chad O’Hara to move up to mornings. Got all that?
