Amber & Tanner & Froggy

• Amaturo Sonoma Media Group (ASMG) Country KFGY (Froggy 92.9)/Santa Rosa, CA is counting down to the launch of Amber And Tanner In The Morning, which debuts Monday, April 1 and features the newly minted team of Amber Henderson and Tanner Chambers. They will succeed Rob & Joss In The Morning, who in February moved on to mornings at Entercom’s KYXY (96.5)/San Diego after 13 great years at Froggy.

Henderson (left) segues from WPUP (Power 100.1)/Athens, GA and also hosts a weekly podcast, The Hot Mess Express. Chambers (right) just completed a successful run as an on-air personality and Digital Producer for The Fitz Show, syndicated by Sun Broadcast Group, and has also been performing stand-up comedy across the Pacific Northwest. “I look forward to making the Bay Area laugh in their cars and on stage,” he said.

Henderson also had some advice to those looking to make a career leap, commenting, “Shouts out to podcasts — my new PD, Dano Weir said my aircheck piqued his interest, but it was the podcast that sold him. You never know who’s listening.” Weir said, “Throughout the process we’ve said we were looking for broadcasters who were good people and creative, and it had to be all three. Amber and Tanner check all three boxes!”
