• Kara Leigh is about to undergo a serious body-chemistry alteration as she embarks on a new radio adventure today — she’s moving from nights to mornings on Cox Media Group Hot AC WSB-FM (B98.5)/Atlanta, invited to join The Tad & Melissa Show. She starts today and will plug in next to hosts Tad Lemire and Melissa Carter. Leigh started as an intern with CMG Atlanta back in 2002 and worked her way up to middays on B98.5 from 2007-2010. She’s been doing nights for the past year.

• And in a related story, after producing the Tad & Melissa Show on B98.5 for the past three years, Jeremy Powell has been enticed across the street to Cumulus Country WKHX (Kicks 101.5) in the newly created position of Executive Producer for the Cadillac Jack and Dallas morning show. Powell’s previous market stops include a stint as Associate Producer of the morning show at WNNX (99X) and morning show Producer on the late WZGC (92.9 dave-fm). He’s also been on the air in Mankato, MN and Chattanooga, TN.
