Big Daddy’s Back… To KCBS/SF

• Just a month after his afternoon drive position was eliminated at Entercom Rhythmic Oldies KRBQ (Q102.1)/San Francisco, we are happy to share the good news that Bay Area favorite Victor “Big Daddy” Zaragoza (KMEL, KYLD, KBLX) is already back in action — and with Entercom. “Like the Jeffersons, I’m moving on up… from the second floor to the third floor of Entercom San Francisco and right back to KCBS!” says Zaragoza, who tells RAMP that he will be doing Sports and Traffic reporting for Entercom All News KCBS (106.9FM/740AM)… although probably not at the same time.

The move marks a return to KCBS, where Zaragoza was a traffic reporter back in 2017. “But now adding Sports reporting to my responsibilities is like a dream come true since I’m passionate about Sports,” said Zaragoza, who formerly worked for Sports-Talk sister KGMZ (95.7 The Game) and spent six years as the Oakland Raiders’ first sideline reporter for the team’s Spanish-language broadcast. “Sports is in my blood and I’m so excited to keep my journey going!” he says.
