Bill Michaels In The Zone
• Well known Wisconsin Sports-Talk personality Bill Michaels has a new flagship station — Mid-West Family Sports-Talk WOZN-AM (1670AM & 96.7FM The Zone)/Madison, WI will now be Michaels’ new radio HQ, with syndication now available across the state of Wisconsin. The show will also air on Mid-West Family siblings WKTY/La Crosse and WAYY (SportsTalk 105.1)/Eau Claire. Michaels was most recently carried on Entercom’s WSSP 1250 The Fan)/Milwaukee. He previously worked for WTMJ/Milwaukee from 1999-2011.
“We are excited to have one of the biggest names in Wisconsin sports talk history as part of our growing sports properties,” said Randy Hawke, VP of Programming for Mid-West Family. “Bill is known and loved throughout the state as the authority on all things Wisconsin Sports, pro and college.
