Calta & The Bone Renew Vows

• Cox Media Group FM Talk WHPT (102.5 The Bone)/Tampa has inked a multi-year contract extension with 12-year station vet Mike Calta, lengthening his tenure as host of The Mike Calta Show, weekdays from 6-10am.

“Mike Calta leads the most entertaining weekday talk show in Tampa Bay,” said John Brennan, Director of Branding and Programming for CMG Tampa. “We are excited that The Mike Calta Show will continue to call 102.5 The Bone home for many years to come.”

Originally from Staten Island, NY, Calta relocated to the Tampa market in 1989 and joined 102.5 The Bone in 2007. Commenting on his sweet new deal, Calta exclaimed, “I’m excited to call both Tampa Bay and CMG my home and my family for the next couple of years and hopefully plenty more beyond that! This is where The Mike Calta Show was born and we are excited to watch it continue to grow!”
