Diaz & Rosas Upped @ Wild 94.9/SF
• Concurrent with the news of Julian Nieh‘s departure from afternoon drive from iHeartMedia Top 40 KYLD (Wild 94.9)/San Francisco, PD Mark Adams announced two in-house promotions: Gabby Diaz (left) is moving up from nights to afternoons, and morning show castmember Crystal Rosas (right) is elevated to evenings. Speaking of Diaz, Adams said, “Gabby originally joined Wild from Power 106/Los Angeles three years ago for nights, and in that time has become a standout member of Team Wild. She’s always delivered topnotch performance at night; in part by consistently delivering authentic passion and swagger both on-air and on-line. Her vivacious personality and positive attitude have become a huge hit with bay area listeners; and our sales team. The move to PMD will allow even more listeners to hear Gabby shine, and helps bolster an already strong prime time line-up.” Diaz is currently the station voice for KRRL (Real 92.3)/Los Angeles and KUBE/Seattle.
Adams continued, “With Gabby’s move to afternoons, that left a considerable talent void to fill at night, and we were fortunate enough to have our next superstar already in-house — for the past two years Crystal Rosas has been a member of The JV Show in mornings. During her time in mornings, Crystal has moved from an Associate Producer role into an on-air talent and one of our favorite people in the building. She’s become an accomplished personality in her own right, one of the top performing social media stars at iHeartMedia San Francisco, and through her endless positivity and relentless hustle has become a valuable teammate in both programming and sales. This move to evenings will allow Crystal to progress her career even further, and we’re confident she’ll continue to kill it.”
