Fish Back On The Menu @ BUZ’N
• After a three-year run in Miami, Chris “Fish” Shatek is making histriumphant return to Entercom Country KMNB (BUZ’N @ 102.9)/Minneapolis, this time as Creative Imaging Director and midday personality, effective August 1.
Shatek (left) was most recently Creative Imaging Director and morning co-host at sister WKIS (Kiss Country 99.9)/Miami until June, when he relocated back home to Minneapolis. Shatek previously spent three years with KMNB as Imaging Director/night jock until his transfer to WKIS in August 2015. “I’m looking forward to Chris’ return to KMNB,” said Shannon Knoepke, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Minneapolis. “I’m excited to have Fish come home to Minnesota and join our team.”
No less excited at the prospect is Shatek himself, who commented, “I’m so grateful to not only be back in the Twin Cities, but also back on BUZ’N @ 102.9, a station I helped to get started. I get to work in my hometown, at a station I love and with an incredible group of people. I couldn’t be more excited.”
Shatek is a Twin Cities’ radio vet who earlier in career did overnights and late nights on iHeartMedia Top 40 KDWB and mornings on Country cousin KEEY (K102)/Minneapolis.
