Fish Season Reopens In Madison
• Mid-West Family Madison is proud to announce the welcome return of market veteran Fish Calloway to mornings! Starting February 21, Country WWQM (Q106) will be the new radio HQ of Fish with Friends.
“We’re so happy to have Fish back in Madison,” said Randy Hawke, VP of Programming for Mid-West Family Madison. “Fish is embarking on a new phase of his career and he wanted to do it in a city he loves with a company and people he trusts.”
Fish is certainly a well known commodity in the market as the former half of the Connie & Fish morning show with his longtime partner Connie Kellie, which used to air across the hall on WJQM (93.1 Jamz) until 2015, and earlier, on iHeartMedia’s WZEE (Z104) for over a decade.
Tragically, Connie lost her battle with cancer on Jan. 4, 2021 while the duo was working at Townsquare Media Hot AC WLHT (Mix 95-7)/Grand Rapids, MI. After taking some time off to mourn the loss of his 20-plus-year radio partner, Fish is ready to start a new chapter, as he commented, “Madison has always been my home and I’m excited to continue my career with such a heritage station like Q106.” Fish with Friends debuts on Q106 at 6am on Monday, Feb. 21.
