Francesca Unretires, Back To WFAN
• Apparently retirement isn’t as exciting and rewarding as Mike Francesca thought it would be, and after days of rumors, Entercom made it official and announced Francesca is indeed returning to WFAN/New York on May 1, some four months after he “retired” after 30 years with the station. Francesca will be the host of the newly named Mike’s On show, weekdays from 3-6:30pm ET, beginning Tuesday, May 1.
And thanks to a partnership with CAA Sports that spans radio, digital and live events, Francesca will also get a swell new mobile app and a companion “Mike’s On”-branded website, featuring exclusive live video streaming of Francesca’s WFAN show.

The new “Mike’s On” app and website will be the exclusive home of the Mike’s Football Sunday show, beginning with the 2018-19 football season. It will also house audio and video archives of Francesca’s storied 30-year career at WFAN, in addition to a live audio stream of Francesca’s WFAN show for sports fans in New York and throughout the country. Concurrent with Francesca’s return, the revised WFAN lineup looks like this — 6-10am: Boomer and Gio Mornings; 10am-1pm: Joe Benigno & Evan Roberts; 1-3pm: Chris Carlin, Maggie Gray and Bart Scott (CMB); 3-6:30pm: Mike’s On; Nights: Steve Somers and Play-by-Play; Overnights: Tony Paige/John Jastremski.
