Fredericksburg Wakes Up With Jeremy Grey
• Centennial Broadcasting Hot AC WBQB (B101.5)/Fredericksburg, VA welcomes Jeremy Grey as its new morning show host, starting today. He succeeds long-time B101.5 morning fixture Dee Daniels, who relocated to Savannah, GA in August to pursue a new opportunity outside of radio. The Jeremy Grey Show will air weekdays from 5-10am, and Grey will be ably accompanied by existing morning show cast members Ted Schubel, Robert Workman and AJ.
Market Manager Mark Bass said, “Jeremy represents a new sound for this area… fresh and anxious to be part of the community. We believe once you give him a listen, you will be hooked.” OM Chuck Archer commented, “Jeremy impressed us with his openness and approachable personality. We are looking forward to working with him as we begin a new era for mornings on B101.5.”
Originally from Raleigh, NC, Grey has worked in radio for more than a decade, with a previous stop with Curtis Media in Raleigh and a two-year local stint as a morning co-host at Telemedia Country WGRX (Thunder 104.9)/Fredericksburg.
“It’s hard to adequately express how grateful I am for the opportunity to join the talented team of professionals at WBQB,” said Grey. “I’m over the moon about working on the show with Ted Schubel, Robert Workman, and AJ. I’m also excited to connect and share my life with B101.5’s loyal audience. I have so much respect for what Dee Daniels has accomplished on the station over the years and it’s an absolute honor to be taking over the reins.”
We are told that many of the morning show’s popular benchmark features will remain, and a daily cash giveaway is planned during the first two weeks of The Jeremy Grey Show.
