Jeriney Wakes Up In Des Moines
• Saga’s Des Moines Radio Group (DMRG) is proud beyond recognition to welcome Jeriney Fulcher as the new morning co-host on Classic Hits 93.3 KIOA, plugging in across the console from Luke Matthews.
Jeriney (left) arrives in Iowa by way of Kansas City, where she worked for Audacy Alternative KRBZ (ALT 96.5) in a variety of roles, most recently producing the nationally syndicated Church of Lazlo afternoon show.
In making the announcement, GM Stephanie Heide said, “We are excited for the experience, knowledge and flair that Jeriney brings to her half of the KIOA Morning Show. She is a fantastic partner and complimenting personality for veteran Luke Mathews.” Leigh McNabb, OM of DMRG and PD of KIOA said of Jeriney, “She knows music, radio and connecting with her audience. What can’t she do? Adding Jeriney to our Des Moines Radio Group crew was a no-brainer.”
Jeriney, who replaces Heather McGregor, commented, “I’m super excited to be working with my good friends Leigh McNabb and Luke Matthews at such a huge station! I love the way KIOA works with the community and is such a huge part of Des Moines. Stephanie Heide has made me feel so welcomed to the Saga family.”
