Keefer Comes Home To KBCO
iHeartMedia Denver excitedly announced the impending return of prodigal son Keefer to reclaim afternoon drive on Triple A 97.3 KBCO, Denver’s World Class Rock, effective March 20. It’s literally a radio homecoming for Keefer, who previously ruled the afternoon roost on KBCO from 1999 until 2012. He’s currently MD/afternoon personality at Community Radio Triple A KJAC (105.5 The Colorado Sound)/Ft. Collins, CO. Once back at KBCO, Keefer will be enjoyed weekdays from 3-8pm and also host artists in the station’s live performance venue, KBCO Studio C.
Keefer commented, “Being on-air at 97.3 KBCO — one of the most respected radio stations in the country — setting up Studio C recordings for some of the most prolific musicians in the industry, and working alongside some of the most creative, professional and hard-working people I have ever encountered, I was truly living my dream. I’m excited about coming home to 97.3 KBCO.”
Concurrent with Keefer’s return, PD Scott Arbough will move from afternoons to nights. “The legacy of KBCO has Keefer’s DNA all over it, and I’m thrilled beyond words to welcome him back,” said Arbough. “Keefer’s gift is his honest and smooth baritone, combined with great interaction and a clever command of language that is a rare gift. We are so excited to share this gift with the Denver/Boulder radio listeners. He’s back!”
