KOLA Adds Chavez To Mornings

• Anaheim Broadcasting Classic Hits KOLA 99.9/Riverside has just added another team member to the Jesse Duran in the Morning show — please welcome Inland Empire veteran Melissa Chavez, who will join host Jesse Duran and Producer Loren for wake-up duties, starting Monday, Dec. 13. She replaces Donna D, who left the industry in September.

Chavez crosses the street from non-comm Contemporary Christian 89.7 KSGN/Riverside, where she worked for many years as an on-air personality and morning show producer. “After an extensive search for a new co-host to join an already very successful morning show, Melissa stood out among a group of amazing candidates,” said KOLA PD Gary Springfield. “Having grown up in the Inland Empire, Melissa’s hometown knowledge and with her easygoing style, she’s going to be the perfect addition to the morning show.”
