Krystal Pino Joins Tucson’s Vibe

• Cumulus Classic Hip Hop KSZR (97.5 The Vibe)/Tucson has acquired the talents of market vet Krystal Pino as its new midday personality. Pino was most recently APD/MD/mornings across the street on Bustos Media Rhythmic Oldies KTGV (Groove 106.3). She also worked over at KFMA and KOHT (Hot 98.3) a few years back, as well as at Westwood One and in Denver at KYGO, KDHT (Hot 107.1), KJHM (Jammin’ 101.5) and KPTT (95.7 The Party).

In making the big announcement, Buzz Jackson, PD of 97.5 The Vibe, said, “We’ve wanted Krystal to be a part of the Vibe team for a long time, and we’re lucky that all the right stars and planets finally aligned so we could get it done!”

Pino is also a stand-up comic, and hosts a weekly lifestyle and entertainment vlogcast, Candidly Krystal with Crystal Stark, which airs weekly on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook Live. “I’m excited to be back under the Cumulus umbrella, as my time at Westwood One was among my favorite!” Pino said. “Buzz is a great PD and has always been someone in the industry I trust and admire. I have missed my Tucson listeners and cannot wait to find a vibe in middays for 97.5! I hope you’ll join me Monday through Saturday, 10am-2pm.”
