Lincoln Wakes Up With ‘Brooke & Bic’
• NRG Media AC KBBK (B107.3)/Lincoln, NE has filled its morning co-host vacancy with the hire of a man named after a popular disposable pen — “Bic” plugs in across from Brooke Summers to form… wait for it… Brooke and Bic Mornings, which debuted yesterday.
As we previously reported, Ms. Summers joined the station in October, coming off a 16-year run on Forever Communications’ Top 40 107.1 WUHU/Bowling Green, KY, and Bic earns the transfer to Lincoln after an eight-year stay at NRG Media sister KWKY (Hits 106)/Kearney-Grand Island, NE. “I’m so grateful and thrilled to team up with the super-talented Brooke Summers and wake up Lincoln every weekday morning,” said Bic. “Lincoln is a special place with so many passionate and involved B107.3 listeners. A big shout goes to GM Ami Graham and Operations Manager Steve King for giving me this new and exciting opportunity!”
