More Bounce To The Ounce
Zapp & Roger couldn’t have said it better — Beasley’s Detroit Throwback Hip Hop headquarters WMGC (105.1 The Bounce) recently began to roll out its team of on-air “Ambassadors.” The Bounce is proud to announce two additional Motor City vets now reporting for duty — Shay Shay will do morning drive, and DJ Ryan Richards, a.k.a. “Mr. Throwback” will be heard on the weekends. In addition to her radio gig, Shay Shay also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University, which is pretty cool.
“We’re assembling an all-star team for Detroit on 105.1!” said Bounce PD Al Payne. “I’m so excited to add Shay Shay and DJ Ryan Richards to our line-up! Legendary personalities like them perfectly match the legendary Throwback Hip Hop and R&B our fans crave.” The complete Bounce line-up now shapes up like this — Shay Shay: Monday through Friday from 6-10am; Suga’s Bounce House with Suga Rae and DJ Jinx: Monday through Saturday from 10am-3pm; The Gello Show with Gello & Joanna: Monday through Saturday from 3-7pm and DJ Dinero: Monday through Saturday from 7pm- midnight. DJ Ryan Richards, “Mr. Throwback” will be heard on Saturdays and Sundays, and Reggie Reg hosts Bouncin’ for the City Sundays from 10am-3pm.
