Moving Day At KSHE 95/St. Louis
• Hubbard Radio’s iconic St. Louis Rock station KSHE 95 announces a new lineup starting on Monday, January 20. As you might expect, the action begins in morning drive, as current KSHE morning host John “U-Man” Ulett (left), a 43-year station vet, is now joined by a new wake-up pal — Guy “Favazz” Favazza (second from left), a.k.a. “the new guy,” a mere 29-year KSHE pro, who sets his alarm eight hours earlier and moves up from afternoon drive. Former morning co-host Lauren “Lern” Elwell (second from right), who has been rockin’ on KSHE for over a decade, slides into afternoon drive from 2-6pm. Lastly… but not “leastly…” Mark Klose (right), who began working for KSHE back in 1973, is back to pilot the midday show from 10am-2pm.
Surveying these strategic changes, Marty Linck, KSHE 95’s newly hired Brand Content Director said, “These moves pair The U-Man and Favazz (both KSHE’s longest-running talent) together in morning drive, and gives Lern a great platform to connect with our fans as a standalone on-air personality. In addition, having Mark Klose re-join the staff during the workday and bring back ‘Klose’s Cut Above’ at noon will really help further cement our position as the rock music authority in St. Louis.”
OM Tommy Mattern remarked, “KSHE 95 is built on legacy. We feature rock music that St. Louisans love, shared by your favorite LOCAL radio personalities, LIVE every day! This is why KSHE is one of the most successful and longest-running rock stations in the country.”
