Moving Day At Radio One Charlotte
• Radio One Charlotte announces the addition of two new personalities on Urban WQNC (92.7 The Block), and the installation of the syndicated D.L Hughley Show into afternoon drive on Urban AC WOSF (105.3 RNB).
92.7 The Block welcomes company veterans Jackie Paige for middays and DJ AngelBaby in afternoon drive. Ms. Paige (left) was born and raised in Charlotte, and is also carried in middays on WKYS/Washington and Urban sister WCDX (iPower 92.1/104.1)/Richmond, VA. OM Jeff “Uzi D” Anderson said, “Jackie is no stranger to Charlotte and will give the Queen City that fresh, energetic boost in the work day that we have been missing. I’m excited to see her continued growth in the industry as a top sought-after talent.”
DJ AngelBaby (right) earns the transfer to Charlotte from middays on Urban sibling WENZ (Z107.9)/Cleveland. A proud graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC, AngelBaby previously worked in Baltimore and also does middays on WGPR (Hot 107.5)/Detroit. AngelBaby is also the official DJ for national recording artist Kash Doll and a Violator All Star DJ.
