Philly’s Fanatic Adjusts AM, Midday Line-up
• Beasley Sports-Talk WPEN (97.5 The Fanatic)/Philadelphia announces a revised daytime personality line-up, effective Oct. 8, starting with a new morning show — Farzetta and Tra In the Morning, featuring Marc Farzetta and William “Tra” Thomas. Farzetta (left) has been a Philadelphia sports media personality since 2005. He hosted the Emmy-award-winning The 700 Level Show, and he currently co-hosts Philly Sports Talk for NBC Sports Philadelphia. Thomas (right) spent 12 years in the NFL, 11 of those as a left tackle with Philadelphia Eagles. He’s also a three-time Pro Bowler and a member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ All-Time Team.
Timed to the launch of Farzetta and Tra In the Morning, current Fanatic morning host Anthony Gargano will move to middays, teaming up with Jason Myrtetus. They will be joined by Gargano’s current co-host Bob Cooneyand Producer Jamie Lynch. “I’m thrilled to remain with my Fanatic Family,” said Gargano. “I’m blessed to live my passion in life — talking 4-for-4 Philly sports and working on my writing projects.” The Fanatic’s No. 1-rated Mike Missanelli in afternoon drive.
