Polumbus, DMac, Ferguson Drive Denver Home
• Former Denver Broncos’ offensive tackle Tyler Polumbus has made his triumphant return to Bonneville Sports-Talk KKFN (Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan)/Denver, inking a sweet multi-year agreement to join longtime host Darren “DMac” McKee and former Bronco safety Nick Ferguson on The Drive, weekdays from 3-7pm.
“We viewed this as a unique opportunity to evolve The Drive and present something that hasn’t been done before,” said Raj Sharan, PD of 104.3 The Fan. “Tyler’s perspective from playing offensive line is totally different from Nick’s on defense. Those differing viewpoints, facilitated by DMac’s 30 years of experience, will lead to fascinating conversations, analysis and fun.”
Polumbus (top) is a Denver native and a member of the Broncos’ 2016 Super Bowl L championship team. His eight-year NFL career also included stints with the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons. Polumbus originally joined The Fan in 2016, and he spent the past two years across the street with iHeartMedia as an analyst on Broncos broadcasts and co-hosting a morning show.
Former Bronco safety Ferguson (center) joined The Fan in April and has hosted multiple shows and created digital content for 1043TheFan.com. Rounding out the trio is McKee (bottom), who has anchored The Drive for nearly a decade to record-high ratings with different partners. Polumbus and Ferguson replace Tom Nalen, who is relocating for personal reasons.
“I’m ecstatic to come home to the place my radio career started and honored to be joining Denver’s most iconic sports talk radio show,” Polumbus said. “Nick and DMac are phenomenal at what they do, and together we’ll look to entertain and educate the listeners with our raw and authentic opinions. I can’t wait to get started.”
