Roach Returns To ‘The X’

• Third time’s the charm for Jason “Roach” Hines, who is proud, happy and thrilled to announce that he’s once again returning to the familiar hallways of Rox Radio Group Alternative KXNA (104.9 The X)/Fayetteville, AR, to do mornings, starting Monday, August 31.

Yes, this marks the third stint at The X for Hines, who initially hosted The Roach Motel in afternoon drive on KXNA from 2006 to 2010 under a previous owner. Following a stint as OM/PD of JVC Active Rock WBGF (93.5 The Bar)/West Palm Beach, Roach returned to The X in July 2016 and stayed until early 2018, when he transported the Roach Motel across the street to Cumulus Rocker KKEG (98.3 The Keg), replacing the syndicated Bob & Tom show.

A clearly elated Hines tells RAMP, “I’m excited to be back on the air at KXNA! The fans of the station and show are amazing. I’ve always had a big following there and looking forward to bringing The Roach Motel Radio Show back to the airwaves. After 20 years off and on in this business, it’s nice to go back home again and have fun on the radio!”
