Sami Jo Awarded Middays At Y100/Miami

• iHeartMedia Miami promotes from within and awards Sami Jo Negron the midday show on WHYI (Y100).

Sami Jo has been the local producer for the Elvis Duran & The Morning Show at Y100 since 2020 and also been on-air. A graduate of Long Island University, Sami Jo got her first radio break as intern on the Elvis Duran & The Morning Show in 2016. She previously held on-air and producer roles at WPOI/Tampa and WNEW/New York.

Sami Jo will continue to report to Y100 PD Taylor Jukes, who said, “Sami Jo has an incredible ability to connect with listeners of all ages, as she lives for pop culture, enjoys chatting with callers and truly loves the music we play.
