Shannon Enters ‘Terry Boyd’s World’

• Entercom Classic Rock KGON/Portland, OR, braces for the imminent arrival of Brian Shannon as the station’s new morning show co-host. Shannon will join Terry Boyd on Terry Boyd’s World, weekdays from 5:30-9am PT, effective Monday, July 8.

Shannon is a 30-plus-year industry pro who most served as an editor and anchor for Radio One’s former KROI (News 92 FM)/Houston. He previously held various on-air roles at KFNC/Houston, KEGL/Dallas-Fort Worth (where he was the producer and voice of co-host Eddie ‘The Boner’ Sanchez), and KLOL/Houston as a longtime member of the Stevens & Pruett show.
